The Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies will be recognizing our graduating seniors and master's students, and announcing departmental awards for students going on study abroad programs, exchange programs, and internships. We invite the family and friends of the Class of 2018 to join us in celebrating these wonderful students!

Russian Club Trivia Night

Come join Russian Club in their annual picnic! The picnic is potluck style, so please feel free to bring Russian food and/or drinks to share!

Maslenitsa is the Slavic religious and folk holiday that corresponds to the Western Christian Carnival, both observed before the beginning of Lent. In Slavic tradition, it also celebrates the close of winter. Come join in on the festivities with Russian Club, and learn more about the tradition behind this holiday!

Russian Club will be having a Russian Trivia night this Thursday, November 17th at 5:00pm in room 117 of Joe Brown Hall. Prizes will be given out to the winners, so be sure to brush up on your Russian facts!
