Intensive Elementary Russian II

In the Russian Flagship certificate curriculum, RUSS 1012  is the second in a two-part intensive introductory course in modern Russian language and culture. This course continues to further develop students’ competence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a persistent focus on proficiency-oriented instruction and assessment. It is accompanied by tutoring sessions.

Students in the Russian Flagship Program at UGA are part of an academic cohort. Students from all majors may apply to participate in the Russian Flagship. Flagship students are eligible to apply for scholarships and grants for the program's study abroad opportunities, including a capstone year abroad.
