The German Fairy Tale

Traditional German folk tales, fairy tales by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and German authors in the social and cultural context of the early 19th century. The use and abuse of fairy tales in contemporary culture and popular media, including advertising, film, and TV. Taught in English.
Not open to students with credit in GRMN 3870.
