Join us in congratulating two of our amazing graduate teaching assistants for receiving the 2026 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award! This award is intended to recognize graduate students who have demonstrated superior teaching skills while serving in an instructional role at UGA. Bre Alderfer, an M.A. student in the German Studies program, serves as a teaching assistant for GRMN 1001, instructing students who are beginning their study of the German language. Ekaterina Tretiakova, a Ph.D. student in the Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy program, serves as a teaching assistant for the Russian Flagship Program, helping guide students through an intensive and immersive Russian language learning experience.
