Kate was born in Tampa, FL and grew up in the South Florida area. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Germanic Studies in May 2016 and spent one year living and working in Germany on a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship. Her academic interests lie in the German and American education systems and early 20th century German history.

Kate enjoys reading (Potterhead) and watching TV series and movies. She’s taken up crocheting and is working on improving her baking skills. After completing the German MA program at the University of Georgia, she plans to pursue the MAT program in World Language Education.
