German/Linguistics Exchange Opportunity

Germanic & Slavic Studies in collaboration with the Department of Linguistics presents a new Study Abroad opportunity in Germany.

Two spots are available for undergrad GRMN and/or LING students to participate in this year's Exchange Program with the University of Hannover. Classes are offered in German and English.  For more information, please get in touch with Vera Lee-Schoenfeld (vleesch@uga.edu) immediately!

German summer semester: March-July 2019 (includes 4-week-long intensive German course)

- classes in Hannover are offered in German and English, so proficiency in German is not required

- credits for courses (LING and GRMN) in Hannover count toward UGA degree

- housing is available via the University of Hannover

- low cost of living compared to the US

- fewer hours in the classroom compared to US classes => lots of time for travel
